WorldNewsUnique.Com, Indonesia - To maintain harmony during the holy month of Ramadan and prevent sweeping actions in North Sumatra (Sumut), while also strengthening the partnership between the North Sumatra Police Team and the Islamic Community Forum of North Sumatra (FUISU AMANAR), an iftar gathering was held at the residence of UIS, the Amir (Leader) of FUISU AMANAR, located on Jalan Guru Suman, Benteng Hilir, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency, on Sunday, March 16, 2025.

The Islamic Community Forum of North Sumatra (FUISU AMANAR) organized the iftar gathering with the North Sumatra Police Intelligence Unit to foster a spirit of togetherness during the holy month of Ramadan.

FUISU AMANAR supports the police’s duties and endorses the agenda of the Indonesian National Police through the North Sumatra Police to ensure a peaceful and orderly atmosphere during Ramadan.

In his speech, Ustaz Indra Suheri, the central chairman of FUISU, stated that FUISU's philosophy in building and maintaining a partnership with the police is that harmony can only be achieved if there is legal enforcement without discrimination based on ethnicity, religion, race, or intergroup differences, in accordance with Pancasila and the principles of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).

Ustaz Indra Suheri also emphasized that in all of FUISU’s field activities, particularly in preventing wrongdoing (Nahi Munkar), the organization always prioritizes communication and coordination with the police. FUISU entrusts law enforcement authorities to ensure security and public order.

The series of events in this iftar gathering with FUISU AMANAR and the North Sumatra Police Team included an opening session, welcoming remarks, a short sermon, iftar, Maghrib prayer, and concluded with a group photo session. (JRH)
