Breaking Into the House, Thief Covers Face with a Plastic Bag

Here is the CCTV footage showing the actions of a thief as he entered the house of a resident in the Kawat 1 Gang Turi area, Lingkungan 9, Tanjung Mulia Hilir Subdistrict, Medan Deli District, Medan City. Knowing that a CCTV camera was installed at the location, the perpetrator covered his face with a red plastic bag. During the act, the thief managed to steal two mobile phones and hundreds of thousands of rupiah in cash.

Siti Selamat Gea, the homeowner, said the burglary occurred at 4 a.m. while she, her husband, and child were sound asleep. The thief entered the house through an unlocked window and managed to steal two mobile phones and a sum of money.

The victim, who has been renting the house for only two months, hopes that the thief can be caught, as the stolen phones were essential for her husband's job as an online motorcycle taxi driver and for daily communication at home.
